My friend and I are doing our own personal graduation trip to Myrtle Beach in the summer, and I wanted to know what motels/hotels let you be 18 an rent a room?
I will be 17 and my friend will be 18 at that time.
The Sea Mist resort recommended me to the motel Atlantic Paradise, but I wanted to see if their were other options we could consider.

However, the city prohibits commercially-produced weddings and other commercial transactions on the public beach. This includes wedding planning services, catering and commercial wedding photography. Structures, including arches, also are prohibited on the public beach.
The only way a commercial wedding could take place on the beach in Myrtle Beach is if it occurs on one of the few private properties whose lot extends to the high tide line.
Should a commercial elements be part of your wedding plans, the city of Myrtle Beach has several beautiful parks, oceanfront and elsewhere, that make great settings, and those in commercial areas are available for commercially-produced weddings. Weddings in public parks do not need a permit if you are willing to share the park with the public. With it sandy beaches and many choices in campground locations, Myrtle Beach Camping is the must do camping experience. With the increasing influx of visitors to Myrtle Beach, millions to be exact, this vacation destination is getting a lot of attention for being one of the best premier RV destinations in the United States. This is evident with all the RV resorts. But another sign is how the big name hotel chains pay attention. A lot of high-rise hotels are taking notice of this destination and they want the piece of the pie. These big named high-rise resorts are slowly but surely redefining the Grand Strand landscape of this once sleepy resort city.
Family wise, this is a perfect destination. The RV parks take care to have inviting activities that are family orientated. Things like large swimming pools, Fossil shell hunts on the beaches, scheduled baseball games for everyone to participate in the family, beach parties and the list goes on and on.
